Oh damn she goes off
I can eat waffles pretty much any time so I wanted to create a dairy and soy free recipe that also had a good amount of protein and no extra added sugars(other than the fruit). Here’s what you’ll need to make delicious protein waffles:2 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup almond milk
2 tsp Splenda or Stevia
2 tsp baking powder
few shakes of salt (1/8 tsp)
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 medium ripe bananas(mashed/blended)
2 scoops Garden of Life Chocolate Cacao Raw Protein
4 tbsp ground flax meal
1. Mix everything in a bowl until it is slightly thicker than pancake batter.
2. Put 1/3 cup of the mixture onto the iron. If it looks small, that’s okay as you don’t want it oozing over the sides
3. Close cover and wait until the waffle iron is no longer steaming.(About 8-12min)
4. Remove waffles and top with fresh berries, honey, or syrup. They’re also pretty good plain.
